Canadian Experience Class program
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) operates under the Express Entry system, employing the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to assess applicants. Those with high CRS scores receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence, ensuring a streamlined and competitive process for skilled individuals.Requirements for FST Program, To qualify for FST, you must have at least two year of full-time work experience in a skilled trade (as well as an equivalent amount of part-time experience). Only considering work experience obtained after an applicant has been granted the certification for the profession in their country of residence, this experience must be obtained within the previous five years.
Eligibility for Canadian Experience Class Program
To be eligible for CEC you need to have at least 12 months of full time (or an equivalent amount) skilled work experience in Canada within the past three years. The Canadian work experience must have occurred within the last three years from the date you apply.
CEC is not available to foreign nationals who don’t have recent Canadian work experience
Canadian Experience Class requirements
To count your 12 months of Canadian work experience towards the CEC application, it needs to meet the following conditions:
- You must obtain permanent residence in Canada before the end of the 36 month period from the date of filing the eAPR.
- Your job duties in Canada fall under NOC code skill level 0, A, or B.
- Get lawful work experience in Canada.
